Privacy Policy
This page explains what CoderTool does with information. We keep it short because we collect very little.
No accounts
You do not need to sign up or log in, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use a compiler.
Your code
The compilers currently available run in your own browser. The code you type is not sent to our servers to be run. To stop you losing work, your code and any text in the Input box are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. You can clear this at any time through your browser's site data settings.
Third-party files
The Python compiler downloads its runtime from a public content delivery network (jsDelivr). Like any file download, this means that network can see your IP address and basic browser details. Other compilers are served from this website.
Hosting and logs
This site is hosted on Vercel. Hosting providers typically keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, pages requested and time) for security and reliability. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Cookies, analytics and ads
We do not currently use advertising or analytics. If we add them in future, we will update this page first and explain what is collected. We store a small preference in your browser for the light or dark theme.
